A short story about us
Hello! We are a family run business, mother and daughter team; Sara and Emma. In November 2021, Nathaniel was born, Sara's first grandchild. We noticed that the boy's clothes sections in shops were filled with dark clothes featuring superheroes or diggers and lacked colourful options that the girls' section had. It wasn't fair! So ReWear Bear was born. We wanted to create a line of vibrant and fun clothing that would appeal to boys and offer them something different and exciting.

Ethical mission
Rather than buying fabrics and making identical outfits in different sizes, we thought about how we can best help today's world of fast fashion. In true Sewing Bee style, we instead buy end of roll fabrics, remnants and discarded clothing to make our new clothes, meaning that every piece is unique. It also helps reduce the amount of discarded clothing in landfills. Win win!
Fast fashion, on the other hand, has significant downsides such as contributing to pollution, exploitation of workers, and excessive waste. At our company, we prioritise sustainability by using end-of-roll fabrics or recycled clothing to create our items, which is why we don't make clothes in every size. By ensuring that all our fabrics are 100% cotton, we are committed to being environmentally friendly. This approach not only minimizes the negative effects of the fashion industry but also promotes ethical and responsible consumption. As a result, sustainable fashion not only benefits the planet but also contributes to a more ethical and conscious society.
Sustainable Clothing for Children
Handmade from recycled fabrics, our clothing is designed for children aged 0-5, prioritizing comfort and sustainability with 100% cotton materials.
